Minneapolis street artist HOTTEA strikes again, this time on the pedestrian path of the Williamsburg bridge.

It took him and his assistants over 11 hours to complete this threaded rainbow tunnel.

Wow, this is beautiful, artistic and creative way to get attention.

What what what

I’m in love with this.

Forward Ho!

Getting involved in a new community and networks can sometimes be challenging — sometimes.

I feel so welcomed into the Denver Metro area lately. People I have met are forward thinking, warm and happy to be where they are; and most of all they are REAL. I have met my fair share of “fake it ‘til you make it” types, and honestly have been one at times. It tugs at you and makes you feel uncomfortable, like when you borrow a sweater that’s just a little too tight.

My attitude now has been one of open mind and heart. Perhaps this brings like-minded people to me, and why I feel so welcomed. I highly recommend it for both business and personal interactions. I recently reblogged a post about getting anything you want, and ironically all the suggestions were about totally being your vulnerable self and living a less prideful life to help others get what they want. This in-turn will come back to you. Sound familiar?

The Golden Rule is making a full come back. What an exciting time to be an entrepreneur! A time when your heart is on the table and people are happy to help you achieve your goals. It is certainly what I am doing and feeling with my business Blank Slate Graphics and Marketing. My business and I have been growing leaps and bounds recently, and I have the people around me to thank for that.

Looking for some fun weekend reading? Our friends at Simply Measured just published a study of 31 brands on Tumblr. The results are compelling:
1/3 of Reblogs happen 30+ days after the initial post. “This longevity is something we haven’t seen on other social networks, and is one of the most powerful and attractive features of Tumblr’s platform,” said Simply Measured.
60% of Reblogs are downstream of the original post, proving that great content amplifies your brand message regardless of how many followers you have.

This reminds me of my first #anniversary with Tim when we had breakfast at the W Hotel in Dallas. I took photos of the tons of #lights like this because I thought they were #inspiring for a #design.
